After winning 11 out of its final 12 matches to end the regular season, the VCU volleyball team clinched the CAA regular season title with Sunday's win over UNC Wilmington.
According to a press release received Tuesday, VCU men's soccer coach Tim O'Sullivan's contract has not been renewed for the 2010 season. O'Sullivan spent 15 season on the VCU sideline piecing together a record of 148-118-35. The best years of the O'Sullivan tenure came between 2002-2004 when he led VCU to three consecutive CAA regular season titles.
After taking as much as an 18-point lead in the first ten minutes of its game Wednesday night, VCU lost at Western Michigan by a score of 83-67.
