Tragedy struck VCU this past week with the slaying of VCU art student Tyler J. Binsted.
It was a Sunday night, and the red carpet was rolled out in front of the Byrd Theatre for the premiere of the HBO miniseries "John Adams."
Thirty-one VCU students will accept donations of new baby clothing, supplies and toys April 5 from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Carytown's Byrd Theatre, and the donation drive will be held alongside a movie's screening at the theater.
Three full-time VCU professors dispensed advice and anecdotes to adjuncts this past Thursday night in Oliver Hall.
