Rams knock off Bulldogs in season opener

After a disappointing performance in their final exhibition game against Virginia State, the VCU Rams were looking for a good start to the regular season. Mission accomplished. Junior T.J. Gwynn (Burlington, N.C./Cummings) scored 20 points-14 in the first half-and the VCU defense forced 23 turnovers in an 82-59 victory over The Citadel on Sunday evening at the Siegel Center.

I want to be in a (rock) band

My musical inclination is limited to my four years of piano lessons and recitals. My parents had big dreams, but sadly I did not-and I decided it was much more important to watch Saturday morning television than learn how to play "Chopin." My passion for music dwindled to me trying half-heartedly to play my old guitar-then, something big and astounding happened that brought it all back: Rock Band.
